This chapter highlights the key features of PostgreSQL. We start with an anatomy of PostgreSQL. We then discuss how to do some common tasks in PostgreSQL you would need to know of any relational database you work with.
Sample PL/PgSQL, SQL functions are demonstrated and some examples of using triggers, using rules to implement updateable views, and writing aggregate functions.
